Leading With Clarity - when the world feels like too much

So many of us are feeling the world deeply.
There’s a lot in the field. Grief, anger, fear, despair, numbness. A sense of helplessness that can overwhelm us when we’re exposed to so much suffering, injustice, and trauma across so many places at once.
How is it all affecting you?
Can you feel the feelings AND stay in your centre, listen to your intuition, and hold the higher vision?
If not, it is understandable! I hope this blog can provide you with some support, action steps and tools for staying embodied, sovereign in your energy, and connected to your deeper vision.
Collective Shadow & Our Puzzle Piece
What has lived underground, in secrecy, is being brought into the light. That process is confronting. It’s painful. It can be genuinely traumatic to witness, especially when it involves harm to the most vulnerable.
For some, the recent revelations have reopened old grief or shattered illusions.
For others, they’ve confirmed what was already known but still deeply felt.
Either way, the emotional weight can feel unbearable at times. I sure have felt this.
Add to that the constant opinions, commentary, outrage, disagreements, pressure to have a view, pressure to respond the “right” way.
It’s a lot for the nervous system to hold.
It can become hard to know what’s true, to hear your own intuition, and to know how to help in a way that actually matters.
And yet, many of us feel this deep inner knowing that we do have a role. And that we can make a difference.
We are not here to carry the entire world on our own shoulders. Or to give up feeling hopeless and helpless.
We are here to weave our pieces of the puzzle ~ together.
Because if you're in my world, I know you care deeply for humanity and for the Earth like I do.
And clarity creates far more impact than energetic overwhelm.
So the question becomes:
How do we stay present without shutting down?
How do we stay aware without being consumed?
When the world pulls you out of your body
When the world feels heavy and loud, it has a way of pulling us out of ourselves.
You might notice it like this:
Your head keeps spinning. You keep scrolling, refreshing, checking, reading comments. Your chest tightens. Your shoulders rise. Your stomach knots. Your thoughts get louder.
You want to focus on your work, your mission, your leadership, but your body is contracted. You’re carrying everyone else’s fears, opinions, and projections. Clarity feels harder to access.
Coming back to centre is not disengagement
So here is my first suggestion.
Pause. Breathe. Come back to your body.
Even one minute of grounding and releasing what isn’t yours can soften your chest, relax your shoulders, and reconnect you to your inner guidance.
Releasing does not mean you don’t care. I am not talking about bypassing, avoiding, or looking away. (Because that won’t serve us either.)
It’s about returning to your centre so you can listen clearly, speak truthfully, and act from alignment rather than reactivity.
If you need that extra support, here is my free energetic toolkit that will give you some potent tools to release & come back into your own centre, plus guided meditation journeys, infused with Clear Transmissions.
Why staying embodied matters now more than ever
This moment in history asks something very specific of us. (And we came here at this time for a reason.)
If we disconnect, numb out, burn out, or turn against each other, we lose our capacity to respond wisely.
This is why grounding, nervous system regulation, energetic boundaries, and soul alignment are not luxuries right now. They are acts of responsibility.
We must come out of our head, out of others peoples energy, beliefs and options and come back into our BODIES and connection with the earth. (read below for how).
Clear, centred people are difficult to manipulate and control.
Listening to your intuition. Staying sovereign. Leading from embodiment.
This is the rebellion that is needed.
The new systems we are longing for and visioning will be created by people who are clear enough to listen, steady enough to feel, and courageous enough to act from love.
Feeling it all, without collapsing
We need to allow for expression of emotion because feeling is healing.
Sacred rage has a place. Grief has a place. Fear has a place.
So do hope, vision, and devotion.
We are asked to feel fully and stay open-hearted.
To believe in what is possible on the other side of what is being exposed.
To remember that transformation often looks darkest just before something fundamentally shifts.
And if it feels too much to feel alone, find support from a loved one or a practitioner you resonate with. We ALL need support during these times. We didn't evolve by holding it all alone.
Simple ways to stay connected and clear
Here are some practices that help me stay anchored in my body, my intuition, and my aligned action. Take what resonates:
Prayer and gratitude, spoken aloud or held quietly.
Time in nature daily, letting the Earth regulate me.
Sitting at my altar, connecting to truth, spirit, and my intentions. (If you don't have one, I recommend one. Feel free to message and ask how.)
Allowing feelings to move through you. Cry. Rage. Breathe.
Ask, “What do I need right now?”
Herbal or Epsom salt baths to release and regulate.
Asking the simple question, “What would love do here?”
Time with community that restores hope.
Calling on the wisdom of healed ancestors and spiritual guides.
Movement. Dancing. Shaking. Letting energy move.
Womb connection and listening to her deeper intelligence.
And also, very practically:
Get into your body with some of above before checking social media in the morning.
Be mindful of when and how much news you consume and where it is from.
If the algorithms aren’t serving you or are causing too much stress, change it - unfollow, hide certain posts. This is ok. Choose when you consume certain information.
Give your nervous system space without screens before sleep.
Avoid multitasking while absorbing heavy information, e.g. not scrolling when with your child or focusing on purpose.
These are supports for staying sovereign in your energy.
BECAUSE our nervous systems weren’t built to take in so much information from around the world. We are used to just receiving news locally.
Listen to your body and honour your capacity for how much you can hold.
Some people need to look closely in order to understand and believe.
Some people need to know without immersing themselves.
Some people cannot take in more imagery or detail without harm to their system.
Discernment is leadership.
Staying aware without being consumed is a skill.
Keeping your attention sovereign is a practice.
What we allow into our nervous system shapes how we show up in the world.
Discernment over division
We each have different roles to play. We are not all meant to do it all. You might do many or just one. We can each do something heart led that has a ripple effect.
Some are here to:
Speak out.
Protest.
Raise healthy children.
Donate.
Heal.
Create art, music, dance
Vision.
Be on the front lines.
Influence quietly.
Lead with one conversation, one smile, one moment of love at a time.
None of it is insignificant.
Holding the higher vision
Want to know what has driven me in devotion on my mission around the world for over 14 years?
The higher vision.
Even when parts of the world look dark (and it feels as if it is the WHOLE world), I can also see so much love, so many heart-centred people doing good things, and so many shifts and evolution after travelling for more than a decade.
Since my awakening in 2011, I’ve held a clear vision of a healthier, more connected way of living.
It looks something like this:
Living closer to the land.
Clean air.
Clean water.
Children who are safe, embodied, and intuitive.
Community.
Dance.
Service.
Ceremony.
Growing food together.
Sharing resources.
Living with joy and respect for life.
And everywhere I’ve travelled over the years, I’ve met SO many people who hold this same vision.
Some of my closest sisters are already bringing it to life around the world! Its incredible to witness after we have held this vision together for so long. And Ben & myself are planning on buying farm land here in the UK in the coming years.
This isn't an unrealistic fantasy about utopia and escapism, its about caring for and respecting the Earth, for sustainability, regeneration and for our future generations.
Many wisdom traditions talk about dreaming the world into creation. We need to hold the vision, the hope, the faith and take the steps towards our personal visions to make the impact we came here for.
We are alive at this time for a reason.
What is your vision for a healthier world?
What actions feel true for you, in your own way, at this time?
I truly love to hear, comment below or dm me.
Your piece matters.Your clarity matters.Your embodied presence matters.
And it always starts from within. 💛
